Pensión Koxka San Sebastián works to ensure its website is accessible to everyone, including those who use assistive technologies. We are committed to complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

This website was audited in June 2026 with the aim of identifying and correcting existing accessibility barriers.

State of compliance

The site is undergoing continuous improvement to achieve partial compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The audited pages are:

The main barriers detected have been identified and corrected. The remaining corrections are in progress.

Available accessibility features

  • Full keyboard navigation.
  • “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
  • Semantic structure of headings (H1, H2, H3).
  • Alternative texts in informational images.
  • Sufficient contrast between text and background.
  • Contact form with associated labels and descriptive error messages.
  • Attributes autocomplete in form fields to facilitate auto-completion.
  • Page language declared correctly (lang="es").
  • Form status messages are announced by screen readers.

Compatibilidad

This site is designed to be compatible with:

  • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge (current versions).
  • Screen readers: NVDA with Firefox (Windows), VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS).
  • Keyboard navigation without a mouse.
  • Mobile devices with text magnification up to 200% without loss of content.

Known limitations

At the time of this review, the following limitations are being corrected:

  • Some room card images may lack descriptive alternative text.
  • Visible focus styles are being reviewed to ensure visibility across all browsers.
  • The “Read more” links in the room listings are being improved to include accessible context.
